Elyse M. Nida moved with her family from South Texas to Hixson, Tennessee (just outside Chattanooga) at age nine, and nine years later graduated from Soddy Daisy High School in 2006. After spending a few years at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, she earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Brigham Young University in 2010.
After college, Elyse attended law school back in Knoxville at the University of Tennessee College of Law, graduating cum laude and in the top 20% of her class in 2014. During her time there, she served as a student attorney for the Innocence and Wrongful Conviction’s Clinic, among other pro bono activities that earned her recognition for hours donated at graduation.
Since then, Elyse put her roots down in Middle Tennessee and dedicated her practice to serving her neighbors during what can be the most difficult and critical times in their lives. She offers a full-service practice in areas of laws that impact individuals most: family law, criminal law, and general civil litigation. Elyse strives to offer her clients a personalized, creative, practical, and cost-conscious approach to their legal issues.
Elyse earned her undergraduate degree in 2010 from Brigham Young University and her law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2014.
